A Mother's Love (Spoilers)

Ok, so I'm taking a break from my usual comedic posters to pay tribute to one of my favorite manga relationships. If you've read my journal, you know I'm a huge fan of Clarice and Miata, and the familial bond they share, and if you've read Claymore chapter 142 (STOP READING IF YOU HAVEN'T! YOU'VE BEEN WARNED!), then you know that Clarice gave her life to bring Miata back from awakening. I couldn't stop crying, and I'm sure many of you felt the same. Out of all the deaths in Claymore, this one was by far the most emotional (at least for me). Clarice may have barely even qualified as Miata's adoptive mother, but she loved Miata like her own daughter, and she gave her life to protect her. At least they got to say goodbye
